Our story
A family company from Buzovgrad, one kilometer from Kazanlak. Since 2005 we have grown Rosa damascena and made organic rose water and rose oil.
How it began
The idea is born in our family: to create not just a product but a tradition, devoted to Bulgaria's most emblematic symbol — Rosa damascena.
We found Olimp — a family company devoted entirely to producing organic rose water and organic rose oil.
We export Bulgarian organic rose water and rose oil to Asia, the USA and Europe, where Bulgarian Rosa damascena is recognized as the world standard.
The fields in Buzovgrad
Our rose gardens are in the village of Buzovgrad, one kilometer from Kazanlak — at the foot of Sredna Gora, looking out toward the Stara Planina mountains.
The fields lie among the forest, far from industrial zones and conventional farming. The fields of Kazanlak are part of the famous Rose Valley: the soil and the microclimate here help the Bulgarian rose develop its rich, intense fragrance.
We are devoted to a single botanical species — the Bulgarian Rosa damascena.
Harvest and distillation
Our roses are grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, using only certified organic methods and the principles of sustainable agriculture. Every product carries official organic certification.
The blossoms are picked by hand in our family's fields and processed in our distillery right after the harvest. The rose water is obtained by direct distillation of the fresh blossoms — which preserves the rose's natural fragrance.
